- PESTO INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups basil leaves
- 1 garlic clove
- 3/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tbsp almond flour (optional)
I always like to have some pesto in the fridge. It is such a great condiment and definitely a staple in my house.
To make it, is easy.
- Blend the ingredients together in a food processor or Magic Bullet.
- If you like your pesto to be thicker, you can add almond flour to the desired consistency.
Note – A typical pesto recipe can include pine nuts and parmesan cheese. I personally don’t think pine nuts are needed, but you can certainly add pine nuts if you like them. As for parmesan cheese, I usually prefer to grate it on top of the pesto instead of having it mixed in the pesto. This pesto sauce is delicious with zucchini spaghetti.
